Dr. Pooja Rastogi

Dr. Pooja Rastogi is an Alumnus of KGMU and completed her MD in Forensic Medicine in 2003 from King George Medical University, Lucknow, a prestigious Medical University in India. She has more than 18 years of Undergraduate teaching, research and Medico Legal experience. She has conducted 3000+ Autopsies and provided her expert opinion on various medico-legal cases referred by various authorities. She has also been an examiner and paper setter for MBBS & MD (FMT) of various universities across India. She is the member of Internal complaint committee of Sharda University related with Sexual harassment of women at workplace. She is also a core member of various committee of her institution such as curriculum committee MEU, disciplinary committee, Faculty development committee etc. She is a frequent speaker in conferences organized by leading forensic and medico legal forums. She also chaired scientific sessions in CMEs and national conferences. She is member of Advisory Board of Journal of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine and International Journal of Health Research and Medico-legal Practice. She has 35 plus publications in National and International indexed journals to her credit and her research interest areas include Crime against women & Medical Negligence. Along with her research and teaching assignments she is also managing various administrative functions as Associate Dean of School of Medical Sciences and Research and her responsibilities include planning and spearheading execution of various policies and procedures.
