Dr. Jiju Puthiya Veettil

Dr. Jiju Puthiya Veettil is a Forensic Scientist with more than 17 years of experience in the field of Forensic Physical Sciences. His areas of interest include Digital Forensics, Audio-video & Image Forensics, Questioned Documents, and Forensic Physics. He did M.Sc. in Physics and Computer Science. He had acquired his Ph.D. in Audio Forensics. He joined the government service as Senior Scientific Assistant (Physics), in the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan, National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (LNJN NICFS), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi, India. Later, he worked as Senior Scientific Officer, at Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He is presently working as Assistant Director (Physics) & Scientist ‘C’ - at Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, Pune, India, where he is heading the Physics Division as well as Digital Forensics Division
