Dr. Astitva Anand

Dr. Astitva Anand is currently a Scientific Officer at the state-of-the-art laboratory, Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of Gujarat. He has completed PhD from the School of Forensic Science, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. He has completed his M.Sc. (Forensic Science) in 2011 from the Institute of Forensic Science, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. He has been awarded the fellowship of national level namely, junior and senior research fellow in 2013 and 2015, University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India. His main interests are in analytical chemistry and toxicology. Currently, he is the author of journal articles in the field of benzene metabolomics. He has teaching experience of around 7.5 years to M.Sc. students. He has also imparted training to national and International police regarding Crime Scene Management, Forensic Medicine, Instrumental Techniques and Toxicology. He also served in a multinational company named PerkinElmerInc. as a Technical specialist.
