Dr. Asha Pahwa

Dr. Asha Pahwa is currently working as Assistant Director in Forensic Psychology Division at Forensic Science Laboratory, Rohini, Delhi. She has a total of 17 years of experience in the field of Clinical and other areas of Applied Psychology. Prior to this, she has worked as Senior Scientist in the Psychiatry Department of P.G.I. Chandigarh. She also served as a Guest Faculty in various Universities such as NICFS, Delhi, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban and M.D.U, Rohtak. She has completed her Ph.D. in Psychology from M.D.U, Rohtak. She was a University Topper and Gold Medalist in M.Phil. and M.A. (Psychology). She qualified UGC NET for Lectureship in Psychology. She also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research. She had established Brain Fingerprinting technology, Layered Voice Analysis Test & other modern techniques in the field of Forensic Psychology for the purpose of Crime Investigation. Till now, she has examined and reported various cases in the field of Crime Investigation and Detection of Deception in different cases referred by Delhi Police, CBI and other state investigation agencies as well as by District and High Courts. She has published various research papers in Journals of International and National repute. Also, she has participated and presented research papers in Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. She is a life member of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology.
