Dr. Richa Rohatgi

Dr. Richa Rohatgi, Ph.D. in Forensic Science from the University of Delhi is currently working as Assistant Professor, Forensic Science at Amity University Haryana. She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of forensics and has previously worked in the forensic lab as a scientific officer and worked as UGC-SRF at DU before she started teaching forensic science to UG/PG students of different colleges and universities across India. She has many publications in reputed journals and 3 book chapters in Forensic Science. She has also authored ePG pathshala modules under the UGC-MHRD scheme. She has been presented with the best paper award and best poster award in different International Conferences. She has presented and chaired sessions in national seminars on various occasions and has organized a five-day FDP on Forensic Science. She has been actively involved in various research activities in forensic science and has been invited as a Resource person for delivering lectures in forensic science. Her article was published in the leading newspaper on the scope of forensic science and has been invited to talk shows on radio- AIR FM radio. She was also part of a debate panelist as a forensic expert in the Aarushi Murder case telecasted on the NewsNation TV channel.
