Dr. Ymelda Wendy Velezmoro Montes

Dr. Ymelda Wendy Velezmoro Montes is a Certified Dental Surgeon, Specialist in Forensic Dentistry. She is a Master in Research and University Teaching. She has completed a Diploma in Medical Audit and in Medical Management and Legal Standards Universidad Alas Peruanas. She has also done a Diploma in Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences. In addition to this, she is a Titular Member of the Committee on Safety and Health at Work (2012-2014). She is the Founder of the Forensic Stomatology Service of the Forensic Clinical Division of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences Ministerio Público-Peru April-2004 and a National Coordinator of Forensic Dentistry of the Institute of Legal Medicine of the Public Ministry. December 2018 till date. She is a Coordinator of the Forensic Dentistry Specialty of the Southern Scientific Private University, from September 2018 till date. She was the Postgraduate Professor of the Peruvian Alas University, Private University Cayetano Heredia. She is also serving as a Professor of the Dental College of Lima, Teacher hired on a fixed term, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Postgraduate teacher at the Southern Private University, National and International Speaker. She is the Founder and vice president of the Peruvian Society of Forensic and Criminalistic Legal Dentistry, Founder and Full Member of the Association of Forensic Dentists of South America, and also served as a Vice President of the Peruvian Society of Legal, Forensic and Criminal Dentistry for the 2018-2020 period. She is the Honorary Member of the Peruvian Association of Dental Experts and Auditors From 2018 to date. She is an active member of the Society of Ibero-American Forensic Odonto-Stomatologists SOFIA since September 2019 and representative of Peru, Honorary Member of Forensic Odontology for Human Rights AFOHR December 2020, and an Active member of Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology October 2020.
