Dr. Kavita Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry since 1996 and Coordinator, Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore since 2015. She has 25 years of experience in Teaching and Research. She is Chairperson of the Board of Studies of Forensic Science, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, and member of the Faculty of Studies and Board of Management. She has supervised more than 10 Dissertations and presently 5 research scholars are registered under her supervision. She has been a part of International Conferences regularly as a Fellow member of “International Congress of Chemistry and Environment”. She is a Life Member of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Global initiatives of Academic Networks (GIAN), Forensic Science Development Society, Lucknow, Lifetime Member of Vigyan Bharti and World Researchers Association. She has been invited as a speaker in national conferences and as a resource person for Faculty Development Programs and also invited as a chairperson and reviewer in many International & National Conferences. She participated as an activist and named for many awards in different sections. She has been awarded with Best Poster in National conference for “Emerging Technologies and Women” (ETWOM-02) in 2002. She has also received Best Magazine Award in 2005 and 2009 by IET DAVV, Indore as a Chief Editor. She received the Best Research Paper Presentation Award in the International Conference organized by WRA in 2019, the best Research Paper Award in ICRALEBH-2019 at Government Holkar Science College, Indore, best paper award in Narsee Monji Institute of Management and Studies, Indore. She honored to recognize outstanding contribution towards Scientific Research & Community by PG Tech Research Institute, Indore in 2018. She always works on her ideas for innovation with changing technology and providing the best facilities and knowledge to the students.
