Dr. Jeyaseelan Augustine

Jeyaseelan Augustine is an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist who completed his MDS from Government Dental College and Hospital, Aurangabad in 2006. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology, Microbiology, and Forensic Odontology at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, an institution he has gladly served for over 13 years. He is a fellow of the Indian Board of Forensic Odontology for which he serves as faculty, and an executive committee member of the Indian Association of Forensic Odontology. He is actively involved in casework, teaching, and research in the field of Forensic Odontology, an area that he has keenly pursued over the years. He obtained MBA in Health Care Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He has a keen interest in Healthcare IT. He has presented papers in various national and international conferences and published over 40 articles in national and international journals. He has co-authored a book on Contemporary Dental Ethics and Professionalism published by Quintessence Books in 2017.
