This Pre-Conference Workshop is organized by the International Association of Scientists and Researchers (IASR) and the Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science (SIFS) India to increase understanding and exposure of forensic science and its sub-fields. The workshop will give participants an overview of forensic science foundations and current trends. It will also introduce participants to forensic laboratories' various devices and techniques in crime investigation. Scientific methods of researching crimes and locating the suspect individual involved in the crime have played an essential role in criminal investigations. The concept of crime and the numerous strategies used by criminals in its commission have changed dramatically as science and technology have advanced.
